The first ever self-fertile true black sweet cherry. Beautiful Blossom in Apil and May followed by large round juicy fruit in July through to the end of August. The sweetest fruit is produced where the tree will get long exposure to the sun so planting in a sunny sheltered position in well-drained soil and will require regular pruning to promote new growth. They are fully hardy, but the blossoms will need protection from frost as any damage will impact on the fruit. Two-year-old trees grafted onto dwarf Colt root stock supplied will reach an eventual height of 4m when mature.
